Driving License Medical
In Queensland, drivers aged 75 and older must visit a doctor every year for a medical fitness-to-drive assessment.
They are also required to carry their current medical certificate (Form F3712) with them in the car at all times while driving.
We require +2 Key Requirements for Drivers 75 and Over Annual Medical Check:
- You must see a doctor every 12 months to check if you are safe to drive.
- Carry the Certificate: You must keep your valid medical certificate in your vehicle whenever you drive.
- Follow Restrictions: If your doctor lists specific conditions on your certificate—such as driving only during daylight or staying close to home—you must follow them.
Licence Expiry Unchanged: The medical certificate step does not change the printed expiry date on your plastic driver licence card.
