Sclerotherapy is a safe, minimally invasive treatment that involves injecting a sclerosant directly into veins, either by direct vision or using ultrasound guidance, to permanently remove unwanted veins. Dr. Hugh Wall, who holds a postgraduate qualification in sclerotherapy, has extensive experience treating a range of leg vein concerns, from cosmetic spider veins to larger, more complex varicose veins. Both ultrasound-guided and direct vision sclerotherapy are available at our clinic.

The treatment begins with an initial consultation to assess your condition and determine the most appropriate plan. Most patients require two sessions of direct vision sclerotherapy. Additional costs may include sclerosant and graduated compression stockings, which are often fully refundable through private health insurance.
